PHILOSOPHY
I love art because it mixes emotions and ideas. I can take a concept or a moment and have it live forever as a photo. For me, a photo becomes art when it illuminates how our perspectives of the world are shaped by our emotions. I view art as how we understand ourselves and each other.
WHY CHOOSE ME
I guarantee a quick turn around time. I’ve been on both sides of a camera, so I know how to create a comfortable photo experience. Because I have directed for theater, made interdisciplinary work, and created performance art for years, I have a unique approach to photography. When I take a snapshot, I focus primarily on the emotion of the subject. Although anyone can benefit from my portraiture, I have a particular interest in working with artists and individuals to further their professional presence and artistic goals.
